HELPING SMALL OHIO MUSEUMS

OBJECTS CONSERVATION: A donation of our objects conservation services was made to the Clinton County History Center in Wilmington, Ohio. Its museum houses the largest collection of paintings, drawings and sculptures by internationally known Quaker artist and sculptor Eli Harvey (1860-1957).

Three plaster maquettes by the artist donated to the museum were shipped but were so poorly packed that all three arrived in broken conditions.  Kay Fisher, the director, brought  them to us for objects conservation treatment proposals and she left to find funding.  After many years had passed without funding, we offered to make them whole again without charge
